Welcome to Sacred Desert Outspa! We are dedicated to providing therapeutic massage services that support your wellness goals. Please review our terms and conditions carefully. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to the following policies.
1. Scope of Services
- Our massage therapists are licensed by the Arizona State Board of Massage Therapy (AZBMT) and provide therapeutic massage services intended for wellness, relaxation, and relief of muscle tension. We do not diagnose, treat medical conditions, or offer medical advice.
- Our service offerings are listed on our website and may vary based on therapist availability or client needs.
2. Client Responsibilities
- Health Information: It is the client’s responsibility to disclose all relevant health conditions, allergies, injuries, or recent surgeries before the session. This information helps us provide safe and effective care.
- Age Requirements: Arizona law requires that clients under the age of 18 have written parental or guardian consent, and minors may need to be accompanied by a guardian during the session. Some treatments may not be appropriate for minors.
- Physical Ability and Limitations: Clients should notify the therapist of any physical limitations or areas to avoid during massage to prevent injury or discomfort.
3. Pricing and Payment
- Rates and Fees: Service prices are posted on our website and are subject to change. We honor promotional and package pricing as specified at the time of purchase.
- Payment: Payments are due upon completion of services, unless otherwise arranged.
- Deposits and Prepayments: Some services may require a deposit or prepayment, which will be specified at the time of booking. Deposits may be non-refundable if a session is canceled with less than the required notice.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows
- Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee of [specified amount or percentage]. For packages or prepaid sessions, a late cancellation may result in forfeiture of the session.
- No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice will be considered a “no-show” and may incur a fee equal to the full session price. Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on future bookings.
- Rescheduling: You may reschedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance, based on availability. Requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
5. Punctuality and Late Arrivals
- Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to complete check-in and any required forms. First-time clients are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early.
- Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session time may be shortened to accommodate the next client. Full payment is required for the scheduled service.
6. Professional Conduct and Boundaries
- Respectful Behavior: Our therapists are licensed professionals, and we strive to maintain a safe, respectful environment. Any inappropriate behavior, language, or conduct will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the session.
- Therapist’s Right to Refuse Service: Our therapists reserve the right to end a session if they feel unsafe or uncomfortable, or if the client’s behavior is inappropriate.
7. Health and Safety Protocols
- Sanitation and Hygiene: We adhere to strict hygiene practices to ensure a safe environment. All equipment, linens, and treatment rooms are sanitized between clients.
- Illness and Health Concerns: Clients experiencing illness or contagious conditions are required to reschedule their appointment. Clients who arrive with visible symptoms of illness may be asked to reschedule. We follow all health guidelines as required by Arizona state health authorities.
